McFarlane loves Prince of Persia

March 2, 2010

The toy experts at McFarlane recently turned their attention to the upcoming film adaptation of Ubisoft’s 2003 title, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.  The toy series, which will be made available in May, comes just in time for the release of the film as well as the follow up game, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. McFarlane’s toys are known for their incredible detail and functionality and this series is no exception. Collectors can choose from four 4-inch figures with 12 points of articulation, four 6-inch characters, fully articulated and spring-loaded, and a boxed play set that depicts a scene from the movie. There is also a set that features Prince Dastan and his horse, Aksh, and a 10-inch replica of the super awesome Dagger of Time. With all sets and figurines coming in at under $20, die-hard Prince of Persia fans should have no problem getting their hands on some of these.

[Thanks McFarlane]

    Gud post and blog guys.
looks like the figurine is more detailed than the actual thing.lol.
I’m looking forward to both the game and film adaptation, even though I was skeptical at first. How about you?

Definitely! McFalrlane makes awesome toys, and Ubisoft makes great games. We’ll see about that movie, although the trailers are looking pretty sweet.

I agree! Also hoping that the game reverts back to the ‘Time’ minipulation and they better bring back the deaths. lol. Had the liberty of seeing a huge Assassins Creed – Etzio figurine recently and they detail is immence, must also be a McFalrlane model. : )
