Modern Warfare 2 DLC coming March 30

March 11, 2010

Two things have happened:

1) Activision found a cure for mapathy.

2) It looks like the analyst who said the Infinity Wardgate situation might affect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC can rest easy for now.

The DLC will come in the form of new multiplayer maps, called the “Stimulus Package.” Xbox 360 gold members will be able to download the new maps on March 30, according to an Activision news release. It’s unknown exactly how many maps there will be or what the pricing will be. There’s also no word yet on when or if the maps will come to PS3 or PC.

We’ll keep our eyes peeled for some more info and let you know.

Why the bias towards the crap-box? I want new maps too, hopefully some that aren’t camper-friendly :\

Well, we know Microsoft doesn’t mind dishing out cash for temporary exclusivity. Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll arrive on PS3 as well.
