Is Gears of War 3 coming in April 2011?

According to a  “trusted U.S. publishing source,” we’ll be seeing Gears of War 3 in stores on April 8, 2011. Supposedly, the game could release sooner, but Microsoft doesn’t want it to interfere with the Halo: Reach and Natal launches.

“Microsoft’s keen to avoid a clash with Halo: Reach and wants Natal to own Christmas. That’s why we won’t be seeing Gears Of War 3 until next year, but expect a major marketing push ahead of its release,” the source said.

A teaser trailer has already been shown, and the word on the street is that we’ll be seeing more of the title at E3. What does Cliffy B and the rest of the peeps at Epic Games have in store for us this time? Let us know what you think!
