Microsoft fixes Xbox Live point system… sort of

April 12, 2010

After years of pissing us off, Microsoft finally changed up the pricing structure for buying Microsoft points through Xbox Live. While the best solution would probably be to get rid of the damn point system altogether(seriously, wtf?), Microsoft simply gave us some improved options when it’s time to buy some points.

Now you can buy 400 points for  $4.99, 800 points for $9.99, 1,600 points for $19.99 and 4,000 points for $49.99, which should help stop the annoying situation of having extra points left over on your account or having to buy more than one pack of points for a particular DLC release.

I guess that’s kind of a step in the right direction…
