May 13, 2010

Videogame industry observers at NPD Group have announced that the month of April has been pretty bad for our favorite industry.

According to NPD Group, and reported by CNET, videogame sales dropped 26 percent while hardware sales dropped 37 percent. Overall earnings for the month came in at about $700 million, in comparison to a year ago, where $1.03 billion in earnings was posted.

So what are you waiting for? Go buy some stuff!

[Thanks, CNET]
