Guitar Hero 7 and Band Hero 3 incoming?

We’ve barely gotten many details on the starless Guitar Hero 6 and, if a posting on an Activision artist’s résumé is true, Activision is already well at work at yet another Guitar Hero and Band Hero.

On his portfolio blog, artist Nigel Li listed two titles for Activision that he did concept work on Guitar Hero 7 and Band Hero 3. This might be a surprise to some of you out there that the publisher is already working on the seventh iteration of the series.

Guitar Hero 6 is barely a blip on the radar and 7‘s on its way? It’s understandable that some games have lengthy development times, but Guitar Hero? That long dev time will really go a long way into making this completely different from the other games, I’m sure.
