Sony Europe desperate to sell PSP go, giving away games

June 1, 2010

I truly wish this kind of deal came stateside.

In a desperate attempt to sell the failure that is the PSP go, Sony Europe is offering European gamers a deal no sane gamer should refuse: a chance to get 10 (ten!) games for free. Well, kind of free. All you have to do is actually buy that failure that is the PSP go. Once you do, the ten games are yours! And it’s not just any ten games. Some of the games aren’t too shabby. Here’s the list of ’em.

  • Assassins Creed: BloodlinesTM (Ubisoft)
  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (Rockstar Games)
  • Gran TurismoTM (SCE WWS)
  • James Cameron’s AVATARTM: The Game (Ubisoft)
  • LittleBigPlanetTM (SCE WWS)
  • MotorStorm® Arctic Edge (SCE WWS)
  • Pursuit ForceTM: Extreme Justice (SCE WWS)
  • 2010 FIFA World Cup South AfricaTM (EA)
  • WipEout® Pure (SCE WWS)

The summer deal kicks off on June 9 in Europe and will supposedly only run for “a limited time.” I wonder if this is Sony’s way of clearing inventory to make way for the rumored PSP2

Sound off in the comments if you’ve got your own thoughts (which I sure hope you do)!
