Kinect to retail for $150?

June 14, 2010

While Microsoft dodged confirming Kinect’s pricing at their keynote this afternoon, Gamestop may have thrown them under the bus. The super retailer is listing the standalone Kinect at $149.99. Personally, I didn’t want to pay more than $100 for it, but then again, I don’t think I’m the target market. They’re also listing bundles for a Kinect and Arcade bundle and a Kinect and Elite bundle, but both of those links are broken at the moment.

What are you thinking? At $150, is Kinect something you’ll want to add to your Xbox 360 experience, or will you take a pass?

Thanks, Dtoid.

So the Kinect alone is worth just as much as an Xbox 360 Arcade.
