MGS:Rising will fill in gaps between MGS2 and MGS4

Metal Gear Solid: Rising's Single Screenshot (UPDATE: And Four Of Ours)

Certainly, one of the games revealed at E3 2010 that left people (read: me) drooling was Konami’s “cut at will” action game, Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

MGS:Rising‘s Producer Shigenobu Matsuyama told reporters at E3 that the game will fill in the gaps between MGS2 and MGS4, giving the player a view at what the hell actually happened to Raiden.

The developers also talked about how they want players to feel the ‘awesomeness’ of Raiden’s blade and the power that it carries with it.

Also confirmed by developers was the presence of the Metal Gear series’ signature stealth elements; however, don’t expect them to be quite the same, as they mentioned they will be quicker and more agile to fit along with Raiden’s cyber ninja skills.
