Releases for the week of March 1

March 2, 2010

This week gamers will be singing their own version of Jordin Sparks’ hit song when they boot up their PCs, Xbox 360s, and PS3s. “Battlefield! Battlefield! Why are so many games set in a…?”

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is among the most high-profile games released this week. Joining it in that top bracket are Major League Baseball 2K10 (PS3 & 360), MLB 10: The Show (PS3), Mega Man 10 (Wii) and Supreme Commander 2 (PC).

Alice in Wonderland (DS, Wii, PC, and Mobile) is also out today to tie-in with the movie’s opening this weekend. I find it interesting that a PC version exists but not PS3 and 360 versions. Not that I would play them if they existed, I just find it smart that the publisher, Disney Interactive in this case, knows on what systems their audience will play the game. And the PC version looks pretty good graphically from screenshots on the game’s website.

Rounding out the release list this week are Deca Sports on the Wii, Dawn of Heroes and Sonic Classic Collection on the DS, Silent Hunter 5 on PC, and Toy Soldiers for Xbox Live Arcade that will be up tomorrow (March 3). Enjoy!
